Just purchased a 23 Se an plan on using it on Buzzard Bay. Any input

We purchased the 23SE last year. Great boat for fishing and play. I am not sure where Buzzard Bay is, but we sure enjoyed ours in the Delaware Bay and running her out into the Atlantic.

I've got a 23SE and keep it in Sandwich. I run through Buzzards Bay from time to time heading to Falmouth or the islands. Be careful because BB can be tough in the afternoons. She's a great boat though for our waters so congratulations and be careful with her.

I run my 23se out of westport in BB.
As you will hear it is all a compromise.
The bay has a tight chop and the boat can pound a bit and be wet.
Always stable and I have never felt unsafe. Just push the nose down a bit and take your time. If I had a t-top, I'd get curtains to get some protection from the spray.

I've take the boat to Nantucket and MV. Go to Cuttyhunk and the Elizabeth islands quite often.

Enjoy --

It seems like there are a lot of 23SE owners out there, you should start a Show Off Your Boat thread. Just an idea cuz I know how Parker owners love to show off there boats, now don't try to deny it. And besides everyone on CP loves pictures of others boats.

Love my 23SE. I have run mine from Katama MV to Stellwagen and back numerous times. It is an awesome awesome fishing platform. I added the T-Top and curtains so the ride isnt as wet as the open model is.
Tell Curt Jessup my boat's previous owner I said a big what's up.
He is the owner of SeaTown there and is also out of Kingmans.
Congratulations on your new boat. Have fun chasing Albies in the fall and slinging snakes down by the Mass Maritime once the stripers start migrating.
See ya out there soon enough!
