I want to thank Dale for heading me in the right direction. I'm so glad I bought this motor. With the extra money I saved, that will be gas money for the next 3 years.

Factory prop 16. SS 3 blade. Yes, 250 is just right. She gets up and goes. The only thing is, when you hit about 41 mph she starts to list. I would think its the deep V. I am very happy with this motor. I paid $17,000 installed with all controls and gauges. No tax. Lived in De. The marina sold my 200 HPDI for $5500 and I gave him $300 for taking the motor off and loading it on the buyers truck. If it wasn't for Dale I would of bought the Yamaha and paid $24,700

21 pitch. With Suzuki having the low reduction gear, you get great hull shot and high end. I would have to go 3200 rpm to plan. Now just about 2000 rpm.

What size boat you have? There are 3 different prop sizes for that motor. The marina where I bought and mounted the motor keeps all 3 props in stock and try's every one and sees witch one runs the best. Knowing that Parker is *** heavy he said to mount the motor at the lowest point and he starts there. He moved the motor 3 times. It ran the best one hole up with the large prop. She gets up and plans so fast. I know we all talk about risings the motor to get best performance but you also have to get the boat to plan at a low rpm. Yes, I raised my other motor and yes she ran fast. The higher you go with the motor, higher the bow lifts. Again, with Parker being *** heavy, it takes more power and rpm to get that bow down. I think because of all the power I now have, I get the best of both. She runs over 40 knots. With the other smaller prop she hit 44 but the boat started to list. The bow started to go down so much you couldn't steer her. I was with the mech that day and he spent all day testing and changing props. Pulled the boat 3 times to raise and lower the motor. I gave him $100 before he started and $150 after. I was very happy with him. The only problem I had was when I got home with the boat, my sounder didn't work. I found the tranducter wire cut. I told him and he gave me the 20 hour service for free. 15 quota

For the the Parker 23 DV hull the 18.5p is going to be the best overall prop (moderate heavy loads in most sea conditions) for handling, speed, and fuel economy.
