I am looking to sell my 2520 with tower that has full controls, 45 gallon livewell, head in cabin, tackle center under the seat on the port side, screens for all the windows, 15ft. Tigress outriggers, Garmin 3210 gps and bottom machine, Raymarine Radar, vhf, af/fm/cd, bottom paint, 200 gallon fuel tank, dive ladder, Lenco trim tabs, raw water washdown, LED lighting, anchor pulpit, 16 rod holders outside, 8 rod holders in cabin, privacy curtain for head/sleeping berths, new batteries, gunwale drink holders and more.
I am seeking $45,000.00 for the vessel.
The engine is a Yamaha 250 OX66 with 600 hours on it (hours may climb a bit depending on how long it takes to sell). The engine is original, so the hull only has 600 hours of use as well. The hull is a 2001 and the engine is a 2000. I run Yamaha Ring Free Fuel Additive thru every single gallon of gas. I have a fuel flow guage installed and I burn 15 gallons an hour at 3700 rpms and cruise at 19 knots when running light on weight. Fully loaded for fishing with 5 or 6 guys I bump the rpms up to 4000 to run that same 19-20 knots. I never, ever run it harder. I am a firm believer in running engines easy so they run forever. I see this engine going an easy 4000 hours if maintained and treated the way I do. Under the cowling there is no rust. This engine is in top shape. My neighbor has a Grady with two of these same engines and they both went over 5000 hours because we took care of them like I take care of this one. I clean the VST filter every 200 hours, lower unit oil is changed every 100 hours and spark plugs every 200 hours. I only run 90 octane ethenol free gas. Fuel lines, filters and all associated fittings were all changed four years ago when the switch to non-eth gas was made. I change the Racor filter every 50 hours. I know that's over-kill, but I have prevenative maintanence OCD! I also fresh water flush the engine every trip.
I am selling the boat in order to go bigger. I need something in the 38 to 45 foot range.
The GPS can be a bit of a bargaining point. If you don't want it I will glady un-install it and we can negotiate the value of it out of the purchase price. I can stick it into my next boat.
I can't seem to get any pictures to upload to the forum, all my pictures are way too big. If you would like me to email you some pics just get a hold of me at [email protected].
The boat is in South Florida. If you are a potential buyer and live on the east coast we might be able to work something out as I have a boat picked out that is in Virginia. Boat haulers hate traveling empty, so he could go south with mine and north with the Parker.
If you have any questions or anything please email me directly or call me. I don't get a chance to get on this site that often, so you will hear back from me a lot quicker if you contact me directly.
Thanks,
Brian
