I am a new member.
My Parker 2520 is a great boat.
My pilot house is dangerous when wet.
I am in need of carpet or solution.
I notified Parker they suggested me joining your form for ideas from other owners.
Thanks
Billybob

I bought a piece of thin indoor/outdoor carpet from Home Depot last year and covered my floor.
Made a template from cardboard, and transferred that to the carpet.
Secured it to the floor with a bit of velcro around the edges.
Problem solved.

Some members have used Dri-deck, some have used carpet, some have painted the floor with non-skid.
All of those solutions work. :)

Greetings:

I solved the "slippery deck" issue in the pilot house of my 2520MV by using some deck tread strips. They are non-skid grit embedded on the top and adhesive coated on the back. Installation is simple; clean the area well and wipe with acetone or someother greaseless solvent, peel off the paper backing from the strip and apply the strip to the deck. Once applied, they remain solidly adhered and don't come off when it's time to scrub the deck. I think that they are a 3M product (found mine at one of the big-box stores.

Regards,

Dan
