Anybody here with a 2520DV with Armstrong Bracket, single OB using a trailer?

If so, please tell me what size you have. I'm looking at a few used ones and wondered how big I need to go.

The two available to me have a 7400lb capacity (9400GVW).

Do you guys think this is big enough?

John, I'll give you an indirect answer while the 2520 people weigh in. 7,400 lb was and is a common capacity.

I have a heavier 2530 DV with IO and I use a '97 7,400 lb trailer. Is tandem axle with dual brakes.

Some have bought heavier. 7,400 lb was the largest I could get from the particular trailer manufacturer then (5 Starr).

i have a 9600 lb trailer for my 2530. if you go up from the 7400 to the 8400 or more you typically get the 15 inch tires. When i was talking to the dealer about the 23 ph he recomended going to over the 8K mark to get the bigger tires. Depends too on how much you trailer and how far.
