Been wanting to upgrade the livewell for a while but it has been at the bottom of the list.

I roughed up the inside of the livewell with some 150 wet or dry. Taped off the drains and removed the nozzle. Shot it with some sky blue gelcoat.

While I was at it, I replaced the factory livewell pump. The 2006 2320 had an 800 gph. 2007 and later models have an 1100 gph pump which draws the same amps. So, I put in an 1100 gph pump which also requires a larger hose which took a little extra time to install.

Now my fishes will be calm and happy before they meet Mr. grouper/snapper. :D

You did an excellent job, and by the looks of things it is also how you keep the rest of your boat. You do good work

too brittle for a flexible surface..........but if the garbage man is a fisherman then you might have a new fishing buddy.

Very nice work Jim. Did you make or buy those knife and net holders? How are they attached?
Thanks,
wayne

Wayne:

the net and knife/plier holders can be found at the usual places. The net holder is actually a Boga grip holder that happened to fit the net well. All are just screwed in.

I've noticed that no one seems to sit on the livewell cushion. Been thinking about replacing the cushion with a low profile starboard tackle station with a lipped top which would be useful for a variety of things.........been thinking........been thinking.......does it ever stop?

GLAD to see you do that too Jim ... as I've been coloring or painting the ID of my baitwells for years and swear it keeps the bait calmer and more lively.

Jim, that is what Megabyte's ponder beers are for

Thanks Jim, I have the same livewell/seat on my 2320 but we installed it the other way so we have a rear-facing seat, which we do use when fishing. I do like the bait station idea though.
