im considering buying a 2320 sport cabin i fish lake erie& it can turn nasty in a hurry on the lake. how does this parker handle 4 to 5' chop? MOST OF THE BOATS ON THE LAKE ARE SPORTS CRAFTS>HOW DOES THE PARKER COMPARE TO THESE BOATS?

I grew up in the buckeye state and boated on Erie. Know the chop well. Not sure of the model # ,but buy a deep V PARKER model and you will smile smile smile. Make a nice trolling boat for those walleye, yum! and you'll look good at put-in-bay. Insist on a test ride, pick crapy day, and see how she does.

Going straight into a head sea they pound some and splash. Other sea directions they are better.

Close, tight, large waves are hard to boat in without managing the speed.

Lot of long, narrow boats will go faster, on average you would do better than some other boats in a head sea.

Make sure you have the windshield wipers.
