Abacos trip

Planning a trip to the Abacos for July. A friend is taking his 44 ft Regal from Savannah, Ga to Stuart, Fl. and then across to the Bahamas. Am considering tagging along on my 2310. Do you guys think the 2310 is too small a boat to make the trip? Has any one made the trip on a 2310 or 2320?
I know it would be less expensive to just rent a boat over there but it sounds like a good adventure on my own boat?
Any advice?

I've done the trip the last 3 years. Not a big deal at all in that size boat just watch the weather and make sure your buddy stays with you. You'll be amazed at how many boats you pass once you hit the bank.
