Hello everyone, owner of a 2520 XLD.
I'm looking to install a Cobra CPI 2575 power inverter in the boat. I'm still fishing here in the NE. Everyone tells me to install close to the batteries. That is fine but as you may know that is next to the fuel filter and tank. I am open to any and all suggestions.

I moved one of the batteries to the port seat/storage compartment in the pilot house. I also upgraded the batteries to a larger size/capacity. I use 4 gauge cable to connect the batteries. The inverter is also stored in the seat compartment which is nice and dry unlike the rear compartment. When the engine is running, you can switch the battery selector to ALL to recharge both batteries. When the engine is off, you can switch to A or OFF to isolate the B battery in the pilothouse.

Thank you very much, This seems to be the simplest and most effective way to solve my problem.
