I have a 2004 2320 w/225 yamaha. Adding 9.9 yamaha 25" manual start kicker for trolling/backup. Have read other installation posts but have not found exactly what I need.
Want to add front steering rod from main motor to kicker w/quick disconnects. Both motors mounted side by side on transcom. Need 32" rod to connect from steering handle on main motor to kicker. Does anyone know what size holes are on each motor? A 5/16" bolt will fit thru each hole. I assume they are both metric. Most posts I have read recommend using a 3/8" rod. Where can I find disconnects 5/16" to 3/8"? 32" rod will have to be fabricated?
Which remote control is best Controllking or Trollmaster?
What is most economical way to shift kicker other than using tiller handle?
