This is a repost. Probably put it in the wrong category. Sorry!

Hello All!
Our new-to-us 2520XL finally arrived in Maine this week. She currently at the "boat spa" getting some spiffing up...wash, compound and wax, minor wiring issues and cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. She suffered from quite a bit of neglect but it's all cosmetic, chalky gelcoat and interior mold, mildew and general filth. The yard finished the buffing and waxing before splashing the boat. The Admiral and I started cleaning the interior yesterday. We mixed up a gallon of OxiClean and water, loaded it into a garden sprayer, pumped it up and let 'er rip. After soaking down the "monkey fur" and letting it cook for five or ten minutes we put a spray nozzle on the hose and started hosing it all down. We were shocked at the dirt, crud and general nastification that ran off the walls and ceiling. But eventually it ran clean and clear. We used a shop vac to suck as much water off and let gravity and a few warm sunny days do the rest. We were thrilled at how clean this covering is. Actually, we were shocked at how well it cleaned up. We were seriously considering replacing the fabric...no doubt a huge job. But now we are going to let it dry thoroughly for a few days before spraying it with 303 Protectant for Fabric.

My question is this: there a few small spots where the fabric has come loose from the fiberglass. What is the recommended glue to restock this stuff. Contact cement? Floor mastic? Super Glue? What says the group?

I have not used this stuff but I was at one time going to add carpet to my parker (it doesn't currently have any). I researched quite a bit on many sites and this was what came highly recommended to me. I have order other stuff from this site for another boat and they were easy to deal with. Anyway, good luck.
