I am in the process of having the floor and fuel tank in my 2001 Parker 2300 CC replaced. This is the deep-vee model. I read that the fuel tank was moved slightly forward in later versions of this hull to compensate for the addition of the bracket to this hull and the additional weight of 4 stroke engines. Can anyone advise me if changes to the location of the fuel tank were indeed made, and if so :
1. How much further forward was the tank was moved?
2. What is the distance from the back of the tank to the transom?
3. Out of curiosity, what year was the tank moved forward?
I have the stringer layout of my hull, so the stringer layout of this hull with the tank moved forward would certainly be helpful. Of course if the tank dimensions were changed from the original tank design, that would be important to know. Any advice would be appreciated. I am very much concerned with doing this "right" and not screwing the boat up.
