Went black fishing (commercial lic) on west side by Race rock light house, a 46- 50 ' lobster boat ran aground on rocks they could not get off due to current , so the Coast Guard flew in a chopper to lift the crew off, it was too foggy to get a close pick by , but the CG flew directly over us ......

Second picture i modified ....look on shore you can see rescue vehicle's , then the lobster boat on rocks , then the two coasties then on right Race Rock light house....

Was listening to this on the radio...both our boats went in yesterday. Last law school exam of the semester tomorrow morning, plan to run the boat for the first time tomorrow after noon.

Reely Nauti, any word on what to expert for weather out in Block Island sound tomorrow. I wanted to run from Niantic to Stonington (just near Watch Hill) to grab some food and beers. Too windy? NOAA says 2-3's but I don't see that being too comfortable with 10-15 knots winds.

I'd kinda wait till tuesday.....

the buoy's r still reporting gusts up to 35 tomorrow might be up to 25 but with the N NW wind , It might make 4 an interesting ride home , so please be careful......

C u out there next week ill be out fri night, sat and sunday opening day for fluke is sat ill be on the prowl for my 10 lb doormat have an order for 5lb of fresh spearing and 10 lb of squid.......
