Anchor locker 21 center console

I have a 2014 21 and I want to put a bigger anchor than the locker will hold now. Looks like the anchor hole is not big enough to put a coiled 250’ rope and the slot for the anchor won’t accommodate the anchor unless I cut the two ends...diameter is bigger also.
Anyone else modified for a bigger anchor?
I don’t trust the one that came with the boat that fits to be big enough.

Get your sawzall and horizontally cut the tray out like i did on my ‘18 2100 CC.
