PROBLEM: 23se, when retrieving the danworth type anchor and winding the rode back in the locker, their is NEVER enough room for the anchor itself, i have to mess around with the rode to get the anchor back in the locker and be able to close the locks and lid.

a friend suggests get a 4-5" piece of pvc and put it in the anchor locker well.......then wind the rode around that, once completed put anchor inside the pvc tube.

SOLUTION: used 3' pvc and toilet flange, old piece of scrap wood cut to profile, cut 3" off anchor shaft.

first pic does not show their is a 2" shelf in the bottom of the anchor locker to which i used 4200 to nail down, i do removed the anchor chair from the anchor shackle for storage. second and third pics speak for themselves.

i decided not to glass in place, this was easier for me, i do thanks dale and others for suggestions on glassing it in.
