I saw in the new Chesapeake Bay Magazine that Tri-State Marine has a 34 parker listed a being with the other Parker Boats on display. It would be nice to finally see one up close.

I am going either Thursday or Friday... If the boy wants to go I may take him sat morning too

I'm taking the kids camping that weeked. Hopefully we can get home early enough Sunday to get down to Annapolis. We always have a great time. I'd like to check out those Judge's like B is buying and that 34' beast.

You wont see a 27 Chesapeake like mine. Judge is only having one boat there this year. They are taking a 36'er. I was disappointed to hear that.

That's a shame, would have liked to see the 27 footer. The wife and I are thinking about getting another boat just don't know what yet. Of course no one is buying used boats either so I most likely will have the Parker another year; not that it's a bad thing.

Anthony I dont live too far from downtown Annapolis if you ever want to check one out when you are in town. I actually dont live far from the Bay Bridge If you are looking to move up I think the 27 Judge isnt much bigger than the 25 Parker though. It certainly competes more with the 25 Parker than the 28. The beam is only 8'10 and the hull length is 26'4" so the area in the boat is probably about the same. Only thing you would gain is a differerent layout and construction. Your Parker is a great boat. I am sure there is no disappointment in keeping her. You can do what I did an put her for sale and not care if it sells. If I still had my Maycraft I wouldnt have been disappointed as it was a great boat. Just like the situation you are in. Of course if it did sell you will be in the drivers seat as far as buying a new boat.

This is exactly what I feel...lookin for a deal!

It always seems like when I have a boat for a few years I'm ready for something different, I think it's a terrible illness I have. I have had the Parker for 5 years which is a record for me except for my 12 year old susky river boat. Most likely I'll keep the Parker for another year, but you never know.

Looking forward to seeing pics of your boat next week.

Ah yes... the tasty (and potent) Painkiller made with Pussers Navy Rum. :D

The Painkiller® is a blend of Pusser's Rum with 4 parts pineapple juice, 1 part cream of coconut and 1 part orange juice served over the rocks with a generous amount of fresh nutmeg on top. You have a choice of numbers 2, 3 or 4, which designate the amount of Pusser's Rum! Cheers!

Painkiller #2 ... 2 parts Pusser's Rum
Painkiller #3 ... 3 parts Pusser's Rum
Painkiller #4 ... 4 parts Pusser's Rum

You have to wonder how many boat deals have been inked under the influence of the Pain Killer.

I'll be on Waikiki Beach sipping something strong while you guys are at the show. Sorry to say...I won't be thinking of you while I'm there.

Enjoy the show...I certainly will enjoy mine. :D :D :D

Your choices within walking distance are endless, though they might be a bit crowded.

Right on the water at Ego Alley is Pussers Landing http://www.pussers.com/outposts/annapolis which (due to its close proximity to the show) will probably be packed to the rafters.
A bit further back would be Middletons Tavern http://www.middletontavern.com/ which is (in)famous for their oyster shooters.

If you like Italian, Marias (near Middletons) http://www.mariasristorante.com/door/?sel=TRUE is excellent! I have never had a bad meal there.

Of course, there are the faux Irish joints like McGarveys http://www.mcgarveys.net/.
But if you want authentic Irish fare, look up Main Street to Castlebay http://www.castlebayirishpub.com/ , or over on Maryland Avenue, you have Galway Bay http://www.galway2006.com/ Those two places have the real Irish fare.

For a 2nd floor view of the boat show, there is Buddys crabs and ribs http://www.buddysannap.com/buddysrestaurant.html .

A little further up main street are the resturants on West Street, the most famous of which is Rams Head Tavern. http://www.ramsheadtavern.com/
You can get dinner and see a show for a great price (if tickets are available).

Over the Spa Creek Bridge in Eastport you have the Chart House Resturant http://www.chart-house.com/ and Ruths Chris Steakhouse http://www.ruthschris-annapolis.com/ .

Lots of places within walking distance. :)
