Has anyone ever made the backrest on a bench seat to fold down so you can access space between the hull and the seat? I am going to try to do this by cutting the backrest brackets and hinging them. I am taking photos and post when complete. I know Parkers are good boats but they don't think much about storage. I am also adding a 9 drawer cabinet into the seat base. I am refering to my 2320PH

Unless you had some sort of locking mechanism on the backrest, I would not cut those brackets.

When the boat is rocking on the drift it would probably flop back and forth.

hey buddy cut them low put a ss hing on the seat side and a slide blot on hull side like a dead bolt that would slide down so that it always stays lock
