When I purchased a 2001 23 SE that was one year used, I ordered a new Parker bimini from the dealer. The bimini sits tall enough so I can stand underneath it (not bad for a 6' 4" guy) and is fairly long front to back. During the first year, I used it several times when I had a lot of guests on board, but found that I didn't use it much. It stored folded forward onto the bow deck. The following season I took it off the boat and have had it stored since then in a garage.

If you are interested in a bimini, this is a nice one. It covers a lot of area, and is well made to Parker standards with good tubing and dark blue Sunbrella fabric. I don't know if it would be compatible as a rear-deck awning on a cabin-style Parker or other boat. I don't think the bimini was sized specific to the 23 SE. It should fit any boat that has a similar width (mine is 8'6").

It is not doing me any good sitting in the garage. The price I paid in early 2002 was $643. I am asking $350.

I might be interested in that for the cockpit of my Grady John. Let me take some measurements tomorrow to see if it might work.

Thanks.

Here are a few photos showing the bimini off the boat in the folded position. For scale, the garage door is 7 ft tall and 9 ft wide.
