I need to buy boat stands (first Time) for a 2520, If I go to the Defender Brownell stand selector it displays:

2 X MB-4 Motorboat Stand MB-4 (18"-25"/46cm-64cm range)
2 X SB-4 Sailboat Stand SB-4 - 24"-36"/61cm-91cm range

Does this sound right? Sailboat Stand??

Thanks

"Sailboat stands" are generally taller to allow for the extra hull height due to the size of the keel.
Call Jim at BOE Marine and he can suggest the proper stands (in the proper weight rating) for a 2520.

My boat is sitting on a set of Jims stands in his boatyard right now.

I just bought 2 of these Brownells for my 2520 last year.
I got the MB-2 (28"-46") and I placed them just forward of
amidship for side to side balance, right about where Kevin's are. They may be too tall though if used more toward the stern, I have never tried them back that
far as I have the two rear corners on blocks.

Here is what it looks like from the stern.
Blocking under the keel, and stands on the corners.

The boat was carried, and placed, by a hydraulic trailer when she was put up for the winter in December.
