I have a 2004 2520XL and I was down to the boat today doing some work and noticed a piece of white plastic on the floor underneath the captain pedestal seat. It came from where the slider assembly meets the fixed portion of the seat, i.e. permits the seat to slide back and forth. I then inspected the mates seat and the same piece of plastic cracked.
The footrest has "Springfield" on it but no other data available. Does anyone know where parts for these seats can be gotten?

Thanks for any help.

Call your dealer they know its an issue so they can call Parker direct or you can and tell them what happened and they will usually send you another assembly for the bottom of the seat.

TimC2520: The picture of the part is correct. I hope you don't mind but I copied the picture and sent an email to Robin. Now wait and see what robin does.

I have a 2008 2520XL and had the same problem except they were loose and the seat had a lot of wiggle left and right, as well as not staying in position. The dealer replaced the spider unit under the seat on top of the post under warranty. This was right after delivery on the Captains seat, the mates seat was OK.
Maybe try what Brad said to do because as I understand it there was some issues with the design of the seat spider and a vendor change was made. There is a thread on this sometime back and Parker was sending new sliders out to many customers who's dealers were far away for warranty repairs.
