Just installed LED spreader lights today. Real happy with the light. Brighter than the halogens for sure. Lights up the whole deck in a crisp white light. Now I can fish at night w spreaders on wo worrying about draining my batterys. Hopefully they hold up. Dont look as durable as the standard halogen units but well see. Wondering how there gonna take a diamond jig hit from one of my drunk friends haha.

in typical CP fashion..... we need pics!!!

They are $165 for two. I just put some on as well, they are plenty bright. The real question is how long they last....

Yeah lights work great but plastic mounting brackets are a joke. Both broke within a year. Gonna have to puty them together somehow cause it broke where the back of light connects to mounting bracket and dont see anyway of modifying and bolting them together. Anyone know good way to glue or weld plastic on plastic?

One of mine broke as expected, I'm going to custom build new mounts for them if I can't retrofit the LED's into my old deck light housing. The lights are awesome, just not the plastic mounts.

I put one of these spreader lights on my boat and within a couple of months I had some leds burn out. However, coastal backed there warranty and replaced it for me-sweet.

Yes contacted coastal last night through email and they returned quickly and said would be able to replace them for no charge. So great customer service over at Coastal.

I'm going to retro fit them into my old spreaders with a few custom tweaks. I'm sure I could send them back, however it does not solve the underlying issue. Should take a month or so, but I will post pictures when it's done.
