I was curious ....does anyone have experience on these two models. I am considering either of the two. Any input such as ride , ie, headsea etc., comfortable cruise speeds ? Going to use in the Ocean for fall/winter rockin' and some ocassional offshore for tuna/sharking

thanks in advance
Pat

Not an expert but i think the front half of the boats are the same as far as the relationship from the front of the boat to the helm. That being said i would imagine you would travel up and down a little bit more with the 28 than the 25 just because in relationship to the hull you are a little more forward. Never been on one but thats just what i would assume. Both are good boats. if you need the extra cockpit space and have the money to buy it go with the 28. Bigger is never really a bad thing on the water but i dont think the 28 would make too many situations the 25 wouldnt.

Headsea sucks.
Following sea or anything else is awesome
Crusie with Twin 250 would be low 30's and getting 1.3 - 1.5 depending on load and conditions. Top speed would be Low 50's. You really wont see a dramatic difference in economy between the two.
