CT title help, please!!!!

I am in the process of negotiating Parker purchase from gent. in CT. He claims that in CT boats do not have titles, only vessel registrations. Same story with trailers. He only has CT registration certificate. CT Parker fellows, please clarify asap, I need to move or not tomorrow. PM or post.

Some states do not require boats to be titled... only registered.
Looks like CT boat and trailer registrations go through their DMV.

No titles in Ct for boats. The trailer should have a title/registration paperwork.

I bought my 2520 in Jan from CT.They have no titles,but their registration has a bill of sale info on it.Make sure it is notarized.I had to send mine back to get notarized to please NJ.

The seller said that he only has registration for the trailer. If I get notarized bill of sale and his current registration, would I have problem at NJ DMV?
