use wax (sanding aid) in gelcoat in areas that are inverted. due to gravity, the wax goes up and forms a barrier between the gelcoat and the surface being sprayed. don't ask me how i figured this out. :shock: ..........all fixed now. 8) 8)

I would have probably done the same thing.

not the bottom, just the underside of the bracket where the four holes went away.
