Okay everyone this is my delima. I drink a ton of water a day because of a medical condition and there is no good place at the helm for a bottle of water without it tipping over. I had one of those fold up jobbies and it flunked the test and I had the Starboard moulded ones that you buy at Boatersworld and they all flunked. I would like to see some ideas from you guy's cuz with all the knowledge here on CP there must be some good ones out there. It's a 2120 SC and has a second station that I also need a holder for. Thanks

will the hh6 hold a can inside the thin neoprene coozie?

No, you have to drink faster. :D

Get the wider ones for that, but a can without one will not stay in that well if you drive like I do. :D

Roger that Captain

The coozies are more for ID purposes on my boat. When the Tarpon start rollin' around and the chaos and excitement kicks in. I don't want anyone grabbin' my beverage by mistake - that's the one in the CP coozie!

I don't usually drive like that in my Parker, but in my SEACRAFT........

I have one of these on each side of my p-house. Each one holds 4 coozies.

Fold up's are the only way I can figure on my 2120 (but on the side of the helm) only time they are in the way is if you want to go foward into the cabin, but that is rare for me anyway. I have two one for a passenger as well. In the cocpit I have fold ups mounted on the side of my filet/bait table, I will try to take a picture next week of that

FWIW, I install those fold up drink holders with 4200. No little holes all over the place. If I ever want to remove them they come off, a little elbow grease and you won't know they were ever there.

Yep...these work great. I got tired of the suction cups giving way and dumping my beer and soda on the deck.

Somewhere in the Projects forum I have some pics of the ones I built and attached with very wide velcro strips. I'll see if I can find them.

On my duck boat, I just add the loop/fuzzy velcro strips to bottom and side of koozie. Then, I use the hook strips in likely spots around the boat. There's even one on top of the trolling motor head (perfect height and location whilst fishing for bucketmouths). I've been using the same same set of koozies for 4 or 5 years. They've stayed attached at 80 mph on multiple trips to and from Arkansas.

I probably should do the same with my Parker but Beth bought me some of those suction cup holders... she says we already have one redneck boat and that is plenty.

Well what i did was i used holesaw and drilled in my top of gunnel and got like $4.00 cup holders at west marine and put them in so when i fish or just sitting in back of boat i have somewhere to put my can in,now i am going to do same in the helm rite by compass so i dont have to hold can while driving if it gets ruff out.But from what i just seen on here there are a few ways to do it from the pictures.I can tell you that the seasucker are real good i have it holding a cooler of mine in place on deck outside pilot house works awesome and trust me when i tell you i load it with can bottles and ice no problems!!!

This spot on the dash is convenient because there's stuff behind the dash and and nothing else can be mounted here. We used 5200 to stick on the 'cup holder'.

Keith, drilling holes in my boat when there are options is something I try not to do. I have bought the Beckson cup holders and used Velcro to fasten them. In doing it this way I can move them around where I need them. I also found other usefull items that they make so keep an eye on Beckson Stock because I like what they make and have already spent over $100.00, binocular case, PLB holder, Cel Phone holder and 4 cup holders.

Why not just slap a camel hydration bag on your back?

OK, just kidding ... ;)

Good ideas here folks. Being an avid DIY'r I'm kind of partial to the fence post mod, haha!
