i checked my dead rise today with a mechanical protractor, starboard read 10 and pot read 12 degrees of dead rise. it is suppose to be 14. maybe a more sophisticated instrument would be more appropriate?

How's this for flat:: (but got the sharp bow for the dirty work)

please help, i'm stuck on stupid.......short track???

No you're not. "Short track" as in car racing. Used to set race up car out of level to compensate for body lean and weight distribution, just as your Parker is. :D

Just put all the heavy people on the side with the least deadrise. :D

All boats with single motors come with a different deadrise on port and starboard to counteract the rotation of the prop. Boat with twins have counter-rotating props, so their deadrise is equal.

As the guidance above states, if the variable deadrise doesn't counteract the prop rotation, then move those heavy people around until you are level. :D :D :D

I didn't get too fur an skoal, but seems to me if boat had 2 different deadrises, one of three things would happen...

1-One side of boat would be taller than other
2-The middle of vee wouldn't be in the middle, or
3-There would be an offset in middle where 2 angles met

I didn't know that, and I thought I knew EVERYTHING! :D
I don't doubt you for a second, but is there a source for that bit of data?
