Hello all,

Been a while since I last posted. I would like to change out the fuel filler hose and motor feed line on my boat, as I noticed some small crack developed on my filler hose. What type of sealant if any should I use on the connections to the fuel tank when I replace the hose?
Thx Scott

Thanks for the replies. I will start the project next week. Pretty sure there will be lots of yelling, screaming, cursing, and eventually tears as my wife wants to help.

THX Scott

Andy at SIM uses Leak Lock

In SIM Yamaha's opinion, Leak-Lock is the best pipe thread sealant available. Suitable for use with refrigeration fittings, all petroleum products including gasoline, propane, oils, fuel oil, kerosene, diesel fuel, water, air and many others. Soft compound with application brush under top lid.
Perfect thread sealant for use on fuel filter base pipe fittings. Suitable for high pressure applications like Sea Star steering fittings. Installing an autopilot? Leak Lock is the thread sealant for those pipe thread fittings.
We have been using Leak-Lock for years in our rigging shop with great results.
