Garmin 740S transducer

I am the proud new owner of a 2013 21SE,I have purchased a garmin 740S,I want a thru hull transducer looking for advise on what kind and were to mount it thanked for any help.

What Depth are you fishing?

That's a 1000watt machine.

Airmar B-164 aprox 6in from the Keel and aprox 1 1/2ft to 2ft in front of the transom on the STB side.
