I have about 3/4 of a tank of gas that has sat in the boat for about 50n days :( , a friend of mine told me yesterday I need to add stabilizer to the gas as it is probally bad, I have used the baot after a dry spell before and had no problems, what do I need to add to the gas and do i need to add it, we are heading out for 3 days this Friday, and do not want trouble, any advise would help, have never added anything to my gas for the baot before !

MTBE or E10 (ethanol) based fuel?

No worries is MTBE. If E10, they 'say' it loses octane after 30-days and that it starts to degrade, but I've never had a problem ... so far. You might be best served to just add 10 or so gallons of high octane fuel on top, that's what I'd do if concerned.

'They' also advise with ethanol fuels to 'Only add what you'll use!" ... but much easier said than done!
