I am replacing the floor in my 91 25 ft. Center console Parker. While doing its been suggested to maybe change out the fuel tank at the same time. Any recommendations for the best tank to get, where to get it and approximate cost? Thanks

$10 - $11 a gal. Look at the tag on the tank thru the inspection piehole.

I personally have a local guy that I work with and he builds them with some custom things done to them.

Better mounting on sending unit. 3/16in instead of 1/8in. We usually put dual vents in them too, so the tank can vent from either end. It's not a problem on this Parker, but it is a problem on some boats.

Remember alum is a commodity and thus prices change daily.

At the very least... while you have the floor up, pull the tank and inspect it.
Much easier to do now than after the new floor is put down.

No matter if you check and inspect or replace.....A double coating of Coal Tar Epoxy on the alum after it is cleaned and sanded will make it last a Lot longer. Take pix's and document this.....It will have value on resale.
