I was out in Cape Cod Bay yesterday morning taking quite a beating from the waves when I looked down and saw my factory Yamaha speedometer and gas guage were both blank. Sort of like they both shut off on me. Yet the motor ran great and the rest of my electronics worked normal. I didn't want to shut off the motor and investigate while being knocked around by waves and the wind. Once back at the ramp, I shut off the motor and restarted it. Both gauges came on like normal. Has this happend to anyone else before and is it anything I should be overly concerned about?
