For you seasoned Parker owners who use a generator. I picked up a used Honda EU 2000 to use on my 2320. Does any particular location seem to work well when generator is in use? I am still on the learning curve,so thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I have the same gen and have never decided on the perfect place. I've never used it but I'm going to have it with me on my nights out fishing. My last trip out I ran one of my batteries down low enough where it wouldn't start the engine. Fortunately I had the other topped off and ready to start the engine when I needed to.

Whatever you do.... never sleep on the boat with the genorator running unless you have a top notch CO detector. Even with it sitting on the transom with the exhaust pointing away from the cabin it would be possilbe for fumes ot accumulate in the boat... makes me paranoid.

Those generators are so quiet I put mine on my roof at night. I have a couple of anchors that hold it down. It has a little bit of vibration but it's no big deal.

I made a cool mount/box and put it on the roof and had rubber bushing and everything, and when we turned it on, it vibrated so much, it drove us nuts, so I do not know what you did, But do not put it on the roof, we use ours all the time, but I do not have a set place, all depends on the direction of the wind :) as to keep the exhust from coming in the doors or windows !
