Mine went 38 and had a 115...a 200! yikes

Public safety and commercial users are not constrained by the maximum horsepower ratings.
Though I've never known a public safety agency to hang a Mariner...

That was a popular set up here on the Currituck Sound with the commercial guys as well as the fish cops and the game wardens.I had one with a 200 merc that swung 21 pitch prop that would top out a little over 60 (hold on).My little duck hunting boat.Since replaced with a 23 se with a 200 suzuki.
