hds8 transducer upgrade?

I am thinking of upgrading my transducer (skimmer 83/200). Does anyone have recommendations for a through-hull? My current one was accidently broken and fixed but still isn't 100% like it was.

I put in an Airmar through hull three years ago and the temp sensor broke this year (two seasons) ...Obviously not an easy replacement. Personally, I would probably stay with transom mount next time. Much cheaper and easier to replace. Just my opinion.

Same exact experience with my b60. Annoying
