Hello everyone, I am so glad to find this site as I am a proud parker owner and a huge fan. My wife and I purchased our 1989 parker last June from a broker in NY. I had it shipped to florida and have been working on it ever since. It has 06 twin Opti-max momos, and I have updated all of the electronics, except the older furuno radar, (because it works just fine.) We had the bottom job redone and the rest of list of projects goes on and on... I am a USCG 6-pack captain and also used to be a marine mechanic at a local dealership. (USED TO Be a mechanic... so I'm only okay at some things and wont' pretend to know what I do not really know.) My real job is that of a fireman with Orange Co. Fire/Rescue. Anyway I hope to get to know some of you and look forward to discussing life, boats, fishing and who knows what else... by the way I will try to post a pic of the boat, but the whole project can be seen at slip54charters.wordpress.com, the bottom of the page is before and it gets more recent as you move up. my wife will help me update with more pics soon. Thanks Captn. Rob.

Welcome aboard brother!

I'm having a ball checking out your project photos. We love project photos here! :D

Welcome aboard, Capt. I'm pretty new to this outfit myself. Just bought my last boat....a Parker. These folks are the greatest. As I've said before, it's like having a bunch of buddies in the neighborhood who just happen to be Parker owners. Every time I'm stumped...I just sound off, and somebody has the answer.....or knows where to find it.
Good fishing!

Thanks for looking at my pics, the wife helped me put more on the website last night. It's great to meet another smoke eatn' brother, Megabyte, our local is 2057, if your ever down our way let me know. Maybe we could fish or least kill a few beers... those original logos are great, but I'm having some "Sou-East Sara" letters made for the sides of the pilothouse. I named the boat after her original model name of the sou-wester, but because she is in Florida, Sou-East and of course with my wifes' name Sara, it was a good fit, if someone draws any comparisons between my boats name and a certain billy joel song that would be okay too. Also hay Dale and Steve, thanks for the replys. Where in florida are you Steve? I would like to get some parker get togethers down here someday... Thanks again and tight lines...

Great looking boat. I'm the proud owner of her sister....always a work in progress.....but she fishes good.
