My friend did the same thing, even has a bag of the O-Rings. Or go to a good hydraulic shop and they can match the $3 O-Ring that co$ts $20 from Seastar Solutions, which is what they go by now.

Does anyone know what size the O rings are? I was thinking I could buy some ahead of time because my boat is an hour away and there is a Ace hardware 2 min. from home. Thanks again

Good news and a little embarrassing situation. The helm steering unit is fixed, it was easy because it wasn't leaking. The container that the fluid was in was leaking and I didn't see it coming out the side and then running down the unit to the helm. Thanks again for your quick input.
