help with radar install please

Center mount on 2520 cabin top. Question: Do I thru bolt through the roof AND the inside liner OR just the roof layer with the nuts hidden? If I go the second way I need an access hatch. On the side where the outriggers go I know you go through both layers because there is no real space between the two like there is in the center. Thanks!

All 4 of the bolts holding mine are on the outside overhang part of the roof, nothing is inside.

I thought about putting it on that overhang and then bring the cable into the cabin. I bought a bar to mount the GPS receiver on putting it above the radome so I'd like to mount it over the hole where the GPS is now.
How does your cable come into the cabin - into the liner space or along the window? Thanks.
