HIN Info needed

I'm considering purchasing a 2001 2520 which is located in the Florida panhandle. Im in Northern CA The boat surveyor I hired sent about 40 pictures with his report. The HIN on the stern looks like it was engraved using a dremel tool. Is this normal ? My brother has a Grady White and the HIN is molded into the fiberglass. Any help on this would be appreciated.....Thanks Rick Smith

Here's a partial of mine from a 2003. My 2320 looked similar also.

Some boats are molded...... Some boats are ingraved.... I wouldn't worry about it....The main consern is the numbers on the Hull match the numbers on the Title.

As a FYI.... Fl. has title on the boat...... No title on the engine or trailer.
The trailer will have a registration.

My ‘95 and ‘97 both have the engraved HIN similar to the one pictured above.
