alright guys, another drilling-holes-in-the-boat question. im installing a set of 30 degree rodholders in the gunnels, forward of where the factory installs the forwardmost pair. my problem is, the rodholders need a hole cut on a 30 degree angle to fit into the gunnels. in the past, i installed a pair of 15 degree holders, cut straight down and just rasped out the back edge till they fit. im not sure whether thats the way to go on these ones, as they require a more severe angle. likewise, im not sure as to how to properly cut a 30 degree hole in the covering boards. anyone have any suggestions? :?

Hole saw replace the center bit with a longer one, use the rod holder upside down as a guide. Dale drew a really good picture in another post about this, I'll see if I can find it.

I want to do the same addition to my 2530, you go first and take pictures. :D :D

Found it!!! Courtesy of Dale.......
