The job may be moving my wife and I to the Caribbean. We have am 05 2320 with an Armstrong and 225. Love the boat, added a kicker a few years ago, but really want twins for some remote areas we want to explore.... Before we get into single vs twin, I understand most failures are due to fuel or poor maintenance... I have fished the boat for years far far offshore and even used the kicker on a fuel line failure due to ethanol last year. Bottom line though is that we want to go some places that I really want redundancy where I can make hull speed against wind and wave where a kicker may not hack it.

So with all that, am I crazy to consider selling the 225, kicker and bracket and have armstrong build me a new bad ass bracket with enough flotation for two 150 yam's? Or should we just consider looking into a 2520? Did I mention that I love my boat, have a custom trailer for her and really love my boat.....
