Its been 2 years since I bought my Parker. Therefore I haven't exactly been 'shopping' for them. Well I was bored today and was checking out Yatchworld.com looking for some Parker porn and I can honestly say I am thoroughly impressed on how well these hold there value! I fell in love with my boat as soon as I saw her so resale value wasn't exactly on my mind. But after today I'm certain I'll never be upside down on her. Just wanted to get that off my chest.

I was working on my boat in the BOE Marine lot where she spent this past winter, and a guy working on a Sea Ray came over to chat...
When he asked the year of my boat, and I told him it was 15 years old, he just couldn't believe it.

Said that he had heard that Parker made a quality boat, but had never looked at one up close.
He spent the next hour looking over everything. :)

I think he is ready to sell his Sea Ray and upgrade to a Parker. :D
Yes, in this area of the Chessie... they hold their value quite well.

Did you show him your bilge?

If so I'm sure that sealed the deal
