after 300 hrs and never any maintenance on the sea star, the steering began to get a little loose. at times while turning the wheel slow, the engine would not turn at all.

followed the instructions in the sea star manual. very easy to purge and bleed. looks like a little air had started to get past the bleed nipples. the nipples where not very tight, as i think they had started to vibrate loose. might want to check yours periodically.

Hey Jim,

"the nipples where not very tight, as i think they had started to vibrate loose. might want to check yours periodically."

Checked my nipples, they seem tight :D :D Hate loose nipples

Couldn't resist

Good point though for sterring fade!!

Sorry Dale, hope that's not to offensive, just struck me as funny.
