There are two products and/or systems that I am considering for the steering and controls of my kicker. They are the "ezy stik" and the wheel shown by Ranger Tim about 28 April 09 that is a small wheel mounted on the side deck about mid ship on the starboard cockpit side. I am interested in the pros and cons of both of these. The object here is to use as little cockpit room as possible. 2520xl Please help? chicago33

I use ez steer. I like it alot, attaches and detaches when I need it. For me it was the way to go. The other way would have been to lock the kicker facing forward and steer with the main engine as a rudder. Have not tried that but would be cheaper and less effective.
