I own a Parker 1801 with a circular live well behind the bench seat. When I fill the live well with water it seems to leak out over a short period of time. Never done a lot of fishing so I'm sure I am doing something wrong. Any suggestions?

Live wells work by pumping in fresh salt water constantly....otherwise, lots of baits would die from lack of oxygen, warming water in livewell, or inhaling thier own excrements.

what he said... the tank is designed to have a constant flow of water into the tank, so the drain isnt particularly leak-proof when there isnt a water flow. if you want the tank to just hold water, you can install a valve on the drain hose exterior to the tank, or figure out another way to plug it up based on your particular setup (im not terribly familiar with how Parker does it stock). be warned, however, that any bait you put in a non-circulating tank will die pretty quickly from the factors that FishFactory mentioned.
