I am looking for advice on where best to install a tru-hull scoop for water pickup to supply a live well pump and raw water pump. I won't be running both at the same time so I'd like to run both off the one pickup. and just turn whichever pump off and run the other. I imaging I'll have to run some sort of check valve.

Where does the factory install a pickup and pump for the live well?

Where do they install a raw water wash down pump?

Do they run both off the same pickup?

The aft bilge area will be filled fast w/ new bilge, raw water , live well pumps and new fuel filter assembly.

Can anyone send a picture of the thru hull that includes the edge of the transom or specifically describe the location so I might get a good visual as to where to mount it so that it doesn't greatly disturb the water headed towards the prop and create any un wanted cavitation....? ....Ideally I'd like to see what the factory intake looks like....

Thanks, Joe

Not familiar with that exact model.

But I install the pickups on the Port side. WHY? Because of hadit in installing Transducers on the STB as per installation instructions. That actually only apply s to a transom mound X-ducer, but I put Thruhull's on the STB side also.

Look in my build thread. viewtopic.php?f=11&t=12419
