I purchased a factory livewell and plan to install to replace to factory pedestal seats behind the console. I plan to scribe a line running from front edge of each seat mount on the deck and use that as a guide to mount the front edge of the LW to. This will give me a reference line as to how far back to cut into the deck to access supply and return plumbing hoses.
How were hoses run from the factory?
What will be the easiest way for me to run the hoses to the bilge where I plan to install the LW pump and return thru hull?
I thought I'd be using a hole saw to drill holes just inside the bilge hatch up close to the deck. Are there any other bulkheads between this one and where the LW plumbing access hole would be?
Would using wire reinforced smooth I inside bilge hose be best?
Any advice from those who know or have done this before is appreciated.
Thanks, Joe
