I love having the boat in my driveway, it gives me plenty of time to give the boat plenty of TLC. Since the shrink wrap guy has 29 boats ahead of me I decided to install the new LED spreader lights. They drain a fraction of what the factory installed halogen lights do and I have the added feature of hitting the switch twice and have blue which matches the under gunnel lights I installed last spring.

Luck John. Do your outrigger bases go thru the hard top and the handles are on the inside??? I've been wanting a set but afraid to go that route as I would most likely lose the rear seating due to people whacking their heads the handles. I would like to know more about your setup. Thanks Mike

+2 on the outrigger install.

Capt. Mike, left you a PM, thanks

Nice lights John. I've looked at Lumitec stuff including those spreader lights. I like the feature of changing the color with just a toggle of the switch. My single spreader is the only non LED I have remaining. I'll eventually get to it but honestly, I just don't use it that much so it's down the list. Lumitec seems to make a good quality product though. As of now, I think I'm going to instal their Seablaze Mini's underwater lights over the winter unless I find something else better for the $'s. Mine is in the driveway too. Hoping to get some stuff done over my Christmas vacation weather permitting.

Thanks Shawnee, they weren't the cheapest as they were about 230 for the pair but seem to be high quality. I usually do a couple of overnighters and now I won't have to worry about starting the engine with these lights.

I have pictures of the install on the outrigger bases on the other computer. You cannot go with the ones that have the handles otherwise you WILL lose the rear seating or your passengers will need crash helmets. These are surface mounted and I used a backing plate. I have Rupp bases and carbon fiber 15' poles which make it a breeze to deploy. So far so good after 2 season and quite a few tuna and some marlin, wahoo etc. Rupp does make a good product. If you have the $$ you might want to spend on Bly (now Gemlux) or Marsh Tacky poles.
If you do a search on here I had a thread with the install 2 springs ago but I will answer any questions or help best I can

In the link you provided, what is the area where the Epirb is located?
