Browsing through all the various threads on mounting kickers, it seems that I might be the only one wanting to mount a kicker on a 2320 with the "old style" narrow bracket....

Can anyone provide some suggestions on how to best mount a kicker with this setup? I also want a swim step and dive ladder, but I assume they can just go on the port side while the kicker goes on the starboard side...

Thanks in advance for any help - this whole "engine on a bracket" thing is new to me..

My plan at this point is to move the swim step/ladder to the starboard side and then put a Garelick mount on the port side. Now my question is more about appropriate motor choice; I don't imagine being able to get something like an "EZ STeer" linkage between the main and the kicker because the main is so much farther back than the kicker...

How responsive is the steering in choppy water or a beam wind just using the "dead main" as the rudder? (nothing extreme, just less than ideal conditions).
