I am sure this topic has been tackled.
Can anybody point me to the link.
Specifically why does someone buy a MV Parker instead of a DV?

Mostly just wondering.

Thanks,

Peter

I bought mine mainly because I wanted a 25 footer with just a single outboard.
I get better economy than the DV.
More stable on the hook than a DV.
I find the immense pounding of the MV therapeutic to my back.

Ok, just kidding on the last one

I went with the dv for the ride,At 21 degrees it still sits very well on anchor and drifting. It depends on the kind of boating you do, inshore back bays mv are awesome! Offshore not so much,Hope this helps.

I didn't really choose the MV over the DV. I was kinda looking for a boat and it had to be a diesel.
This one just popped up.
I was surprised to discover that the DV actually sits higher in the water than mine. Really surprised because it meant that my bait tank thru hull was under water while at rest.
I haven't spent any time offshore yet but I did buy one of those shock absorbers for my helm chair.
Any other thoughts are welcome.

The 16 degree XL sits higher in the water than my 14 degree MV, but it's only been an oddity to me. Never an issue. :)
Puts me close to the fish. :D
