I decided to invest in a new trailer. I was doing my spring maintenance and noticed that I'll need all new brakes, calipers and there is a lot of rust on the U bolts and other parts. The trailer is 6 years old so I decided it is time.

Any suggestions on where to get a good trailer for this boat. I put about 1500 miles per year on my trailer and would like a heavy duty trailer. Also, I currently have rollers but was wondering what people think of bunks. I often boat alone so I the rollers have helped a lot. I have a bunk trailer for the small boat and just drive it on. If I did that with the Parker on rollers it just rolls off before I can hook the chain. I usually just pull it on until I hook the winch and then it easily rolls up.

I did some searches here and on Google and noted that aluminum trailers did not come with rollers. Is that true? I'm looking for something that will last a few years and be low maintenance.

Thanks for any suggestion. I don't mind looking in Virginia and Maryland.

Check out Road King trailers. My Dad has a tandem AL bunk under his 22' Sea Hunt and it seem to be pretty well put together. I know they offer an AL/roller combo as well.

Thanks for the pointer. I found a thread on here that talked about Nextrail trailers. I talked with them this morning and it looks like they are the best deal. I made some local calls but everything was considerably higher. It takes about 10-14 days for them to deliver.
